Description

Bingham Boys John Saltas and Ron Yengich convene in the pod studio to lament the overnight downtown Salt Lake City bar fire that affected White Horse, Whiskey Street, Los Tapatios, and London Belle before they take a deep dive into the history of SLC watering holes (both respectable and notorious) and their Bingham counterparts like the Copper King Bar, and then veer off into the wild and wonky world of theological politics, local Republican Christina Boggess’ “Christ’s Way or the Highway” DEI stance, the Greeks and Sailing the Wine-Dark Sea, Donald “Agent Orange” Trump’s track record with the Ten Commandments (it ain’t Great, Again or ever), Sen. Stuart Adams’ creative legal weaseling, the Deseret News’ track record with reality (also not Great), a bipartisan toast from John’s conservative pal, and more.

Recorded and edited by Bill Frost at FrostyCo Studios.

Opening theme “Pawnshop Boogie” courtesy of Steven Wells & Ghostowne.
