I think it is so important that we are praying for each other.
We recently did an episode on “is our prayers important?” Yes, our prayers are so important. Not because of anything we can do but because who we are praying to. God is all powerful and able to do all things. We get to partner with God in prayer in making His name known throughout the world.
I want to start highlighting different nations around the world where Christian’s are being persecuted, tortured, and martyred for their faith. I want us to partner in prayer together with our brothers and sisters around the world. I hope you will pray with me!

NIGERIA
I want us to pray for Nigeria today.
Nigeria has become known as the world’s center for Christian Martyrs.
This year alone, in 2025, there have been 7,000 Christian’s killed. This is more Christians killed in Nigeria then all previous years. Nigeria is where the largest number of Christians are currently being killed—more than all other countries this year combined.
This is about 35 of our brothers and sisters being killed in one country everyday and the numbers are growing. The persecution and martyrdom of Christians is growing around the world.
What can we do?
Pray for the Christians who are being persecuted and killed for their faith. They are martyrs and greatly loved by God. They are precious in His sight. Though it is a tragedy for us on earth, they are going home to be with Jesus! For that we can mourn and also rejoice that they have run their race and have gotten the prize.
Pray for those who are enemies of the faith. Maybe one day they will become fellow brothers and sisters in the faith.
