Tuesday through Sunday, September 9th – 15th 2025, our sun transits Gate 47, Realization. This carries the shadow of Oppression, the gift of Transmutation, and the potential for Transfiguration. With this gate we can actualize and evolve through the “dark night of the soul”. We evolve by turning to face the dragon we are avoiding, owning our own suffering and the situation that oppresses us. As Rudd says, “Your suffering is a magic mirror, its yours to own, to appreciate and and accept. Only when you stop trying to avoid it can it show you its magic.” In taking responsibility for our own suffering, we receive the gift of Transmutation. It is an alchemical process. It involves leaving the mind and going into the belly. Inside the body we find the center of it all. In here we find the spaciousness of our innate sense of destiny. In Transmutation we leave the limits of conditioning, concepts, identities, ego, and the illusion of separateness. In the belly, in the center, we are at home amidst our alchemy, our evolution, our transmutation. It’s all part of the process. Listen for meditations and more.
