A different newsletter to wish you a happy new year!
Caro/a amico/a,
Buon anno! Come stai? Come sono andate le tue vacanze? Mi sei mancato/a tantissimo, ho dovuto mettere in pausa la newsletter perchè la fine del 2021 è stata davvero particolare, ma ora ti spiego il perchè… sei pronto/a per le buone notizie?
Quest'anno Babbo Natale ci ha portato un regalo fantastico...
Sono super FELICE di annunciare che Damian ed io aspettiamo un bambino (un maschietto) a luglio! Lo stavamo aspettando da così tanto tempo e siamo super emozionati.
Come puoi immaginare, la mia vita cambierà radicalmente nei prossimi mesi che precedono la mia data di scadenza e dopo. Quindi, ho pensato a come continuare a prendermi cura di te (come tuo genitore linguistico) anche se avrò meno tempo da dedicare all'insegnamento.
Nei prossimi mesi, ho deciso di portare alcuni meravigliosi nuovi insegnanti di italiano nella nostra comunità per contribuire al tuo studio della lingua e della cultura italiana. Saranno disponibili prima della scadenza, durante la mia maternità, e poi diventeranno anche presenze permanenti della comunità di apprendimento delle lingue SU MISURA ITALY.
Ho trascorso le ultime settimane selezionando meticolosamente cinque favolose insegnanti provenienti da diverse regioni italiane, con esperienze e background culturali diversi.
Cosa ne pensi? Non vedi l’ora di iniziare a studiare con noi?

Dear friend,
Happy New Year! How are you? How were your holidays? I missed you so much, I had to pause the newsletter because the end of 2021 was really different, but now let me explain why ... are you ready for the good news?
This year Santa Claus brought us an amazing gift ...
I am super HAPPY to announce that Damian and I are expecting a baby (a boy) in July! We have been waiting for this for so long and we are super excited.
As you can imagine, my life will change dramatically in the next few months leading up to my due date and after. So, I've been thinking about how to continue taking care of you (as your language parent) even as I will have less time to spend teaching.
Over the next few months, I have decided to bring a few wonderful new Italian teachers to our community to contribute to your study of the Italian language and culture. They will be available before the due date, during my maternity leave, and then they will also become permanent fixtures of the SU MISURA ITALY language learning community.
I have spent the last few weeks meticulously selecting five fabulous teachers from different Italian regions, with different experiences and cultural backgrounds.

My newsletter is designed to enhance your Italian language journey—from quick study tricks, recipes, and mental vacations with me to Italia… it’s a cozy place to hang out & LEARN (at all levels).

HAVE A TEACHER TO YOURSELF
One on one lessons
Have a teacher just to yourself and have each lesson tailored to your needs and level. This is the best option to start learning or to practice a new language without having to go back to school in a class with people with different needs.
You can benefit from online lessons (via zoom) in the comfort of your own home (wherever continent you live) but also anywhere else, on your lunch break, even while you are traveling away from home.
Our online Italian lessons allow you to learn and practice Italian with the support of experienced native Italian tutors that I (monica) will match and select based on your needs.
At Su Misura Italy, all tutors are from different Italian regions, with different experiences and cultural backgrounds. They are qualified and experienced in teaching Italian online and are available every day.

From 2022 we open the door to little learners!
Give your child the gift of bilingualism from a very young age. The course involves games, music, storytelling, flashcards, and lots of fun! We will use practical experiences and everyday activities as the basis of our classes. The child will absorb the language in a fun and stimulating environment and will start speaking in no time!
