I invited Certified Classical Homeopath Sarah Thompson to give me a Homeopathy 101 tutorial. For years I’d dismissed Homeopathy out of hand based on nothing more than my own Western medicine bias. Getting to know Sarah - a deeply intelligent and honest person who embraces this modality - made me want to learn more.
Sarah shares the history of homeopathy, why it was suppressed, and why it works, even if the mechanism isn’t fully understood. Her own path to the practice began with a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia at 33. Conventional medicine saved her life, but left the underlying causes untouched. Homeopathy did what chemo couldn’t in that regard. Today Sarah is healthier than she has ever been, with a flourishing practice and a depth of knowledge and thoughtfulness that is inspiring and impressive.
