‘Twas a wild Blood Moon!
For about 20 minutes, the Substack tech demons prevented Natalie from joining, so I went live with Sam "Skyguy", who was broadcasting from the surface of the Blood Moon— and Calm Ya Mind, who I accidentally, viscously disconnected from the stream as I accidentally slipped into Natalie Fehlner’s fairy dimension, at which point we started this live video.
And yes: at one point, I aspirated my vesper. But, thankfully, I’m a broadcasting professional.
Whew. I know. It’s a lot.
But here’s the good news: we got Natalie on the live to talk about her very Fire Horse breakthrough around the cultish nature of ideologies— and how social media algorithms reinforce echo chambers and encourage many to “cut off” folks in their real life for perceived slights against their “team”.
You know— what Scientology does!
In this Fire Horse Year, please consider reconnecting with real community, expanding your circle, and exposing yourself to new and novel concepts that, while initially upsetting, will only serve to strengthen your intellectual firepower— not to mention overall quality of life. It’s a good time to expand instead of contract, and to create some space for the mess that is the very imperfect— and often contradictory— human condition.
