In Genesis 9, God gives Noah and his family guidance for their lives after the flood. He especially focuses on the importance of life and the consequences of shedding another person’s blood.

God then makes a promise and says the rainbow will be the sign of His promise.

But as the chapter closes, we learn that man’s problems before the flood - sin and death - are still problems.
