Luke closes his gospel account with Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and ascension back into heaven.
Jesus emphasizes throughout this chapter, as He has already told His disciples, that all the things which happened to Him were “according to the Scriptures.” This was God’s plan all along.
Lord willing, next time, we will continue to follow along with Luke into the book of Acts, where we will discover “the rest of the story.”
