Today’s Gospel features a parable about prayer. Jesus tells of a man whose friend arrives late at night, and persistently knocks until the man gives him some bread. Prayer emerges from the relationship between our Heavenly Father and His beloved children who have the extraordinary privilege of being able to approach him with complete confidence.
