In today’s First Reading, we hear the account of Lydia, who was baptized by Paul along with her household and asked Paul to stay in her home. This and the other readings today compel us to ask whether our personal hearts, our families, and our households have been opened up to not just Christ’s messengers, but also to Christ Himself.
