In today’s Gospel, the Pharisees accuse Jesus and His followers of breaking the Sabbath. God commands us to keep the Sabbath holy and observe the day of rest - but we can only join in that Sabbath rest if we take our Sundays seriously. Going to Mass is not an obligation.
