Hello, NWI! It’s T-minus 4 days and counting until Election Day. Jerry Williams, candidate for Lake County sheriff, stopped by to share some of the most fascinating stories I’ve heard to date, from anyone. Listen in to discover:
* How he survived a head-on car crash with a suspect going 110 mph.
* That time he spent 5 hours with civil rights legend John Lewis and discovered something few people were privileged to know about the congressman.
* His roots from Gary to Indianapolis and back around again (and again!)
* Where his gold tooth came from.
I can honestly say that Jerry’s worked in more areas of law enforcement than I think even some law enforcement officers know exist! In a career spanning 33 years, you earn a lot of stories. He shares them here, and the reasons he believes he’s uniquely qualified to serve as Lake County Sheriff. Pull up a chair!
