Hi folks,
I’m excited to share this new sponsored segment with you, where YOUR local candidates put themselves on the line with yours truly! I wanted you to get a chance to get to know the people who want to serve you outside of the forums and town halls and the scripted conversations. So up first is the VERY brave Scott Miller, who is running for Lake County Council, District 1. The questions are created by yours truly. Scott didn’t see them. He didn’t even veto any! Here are three things I didn’t know about Scott before today:
* He led Hammond schools during COVID. God help him, but he did.
* Speaking of God…Scott’s faith is foundational to his perspective on public service, and as a committed secular type person, I was shocked and impressed by what that looks like in practice.
* He helped Hammond high school wrestlers get an Olympian-level experience you’ve just got to hear to believe.
Scott, thank you for your support, which helps to keep the lights on at Bluer by the Lake and the content free to everyone.
