Good evening everyone. This is William Rochelle reporting with what you need to know right now.
First, politics is heating up again. Two issues are rising fast and neither one is getting nearly enough attention.
Number one, election interference concerns are back on the table. New reports suggest outside actors are testing weaknesses in our digital voting systems. We will keep a close eye on any confirmations that come from federal investigators.
Number two, immigration reform talks have stalled again. Both parties are digging in with no movement. That matters because every delay pushes funding deadlines closer and could hit federal services that millions rely on.
Let’s talk money because the financial news today is serious. There is growing speculation that several European partners may consider selling off large portions of the United States bonds they hold. If that happened all at once it would shock the system and hit the stock market hard. It is not guaranteed, but it is a real concern that economists are quietly watching.
Next question on the table. Did America commit a war crime. At this point we do not have enough confirmed evidence to answer that. What we can say is investigations are underway and responsibility would fall on the officials who authorized or carried out the actions in question. The world will be watching the outcome.
Now for the great news. By popular demand we are bringing back our women’s rights and equal rights for all conversation. This is important because we are seeing men stepping up and supporting women in these conversations. That is how change happens. Carl has lived through the same eras and I cannot wait to hear his perspective and learn more about what drives him.
