Michael Severance currently directs the Acton Institute external affairs, operations and academic programming in Rome. He has been working and living in Italy for 21 years and is married with three children. His education includes graduate and postgraduate degrees in philosophy and modern languages from the University of San Francisco, St. Ignatius Institute and the Oxford University. In his free time, he enjoys writing and gardening.
