Description

Why is this podcast named “Avalon Sacred Groves”

A Sacred Grove is a Grove of trees or a forested area that is considered sacred or holy, often due to religious or spiritual beliefs, and is protected by local communities. These Groves are often untouched by humans and hold deep cultural and ecological significance. ( a definition)

Hannah and Louise introduce the inspiration behind this podcast series.

We are immersed in the Glory of the Trees standing in the Landscape of Glastonbury Avalon on the Flower Full moon in 2025. Together we weave the legacy of belonging, the threads of the living myth of now and muse on a living oral tradition rooted in the restoration of the village. We ask the question: How are we endeavouring to return to an indigenous perception, to sustainability and the sacredness of life here in Britain?
