Marc, in his own words, had the misfortune of growing up during the Algerian War of Independence, a war in which 2 million Algerians died and many more were tortured or put in French concentration camps. In this episode, Marc shares his personal stories and experiences of the war, and at the same, offers throughly engaging and thought provoking philosophical insight that challenges many of the existing assumptions about the war and the Algerian struggle for independence more broadly.
