Ghosts of Plum Run is my historical fiction series based on the First Minnesota's suicidal charge down Cemetery Ridge at sundown on July 2, 1863. Professor Tim Orr of Old Dominion University, a former battlefield guide at Gettysburg and expert on the Army of the Potomac, has helped me research the project for a couple years.
