I’ve been bombarded with content this week that points directly to the spirits of evil at work in our culture. The spirits that ultimately end up coming after kids.
Even friends have talked to me about the spiritual realm in their own families and homes, how they are starting to recognize spiritual evils that are more than just physiological issues.
For so long we believed science could answer every question, but the scientists don’t seem to have any solutions for what we are seeing now in the corruption of kids and destruction of human lives. There is only one answer and it is Adonai.
In the meantime, we need to have poignant discussions about this. I don’t believe these are topics where sweetness or levity is appropriate. Some issues require the strength of David, the passion of David before he fought Goliath. Direct and honest revelations about the greatness of our G-d and recognition of the demons at work against Him.
America is in trouble. But in every society and especially in what we see in the nation of Israel, it has been a return to Biblical truths that has brought them back to health. It is on the Believer to educate themselves about what belongs to G-d and what belongs to the Baals and decide which one they will serve. In choosing G-d and His ways we banish the wickedness at the very least from our homes and we will have the strength to stand for those truths just as Peter and Timothy And Paul and Silas did in the very pagan cultures they were witnessing to.
We need the Holy Spirit. We need to stop grieving that Spirit and start loving it more than we love anything. More than money or entertainment or culture or clothing or popularity. And no, you don’t have to be loud about it to be doing it right. Quietly putting away the things of the world and keeping the Sabbath is a great start.
But start already.
Today’s special is a brief education on a few ancient gods and where they are destroying today. Some great other references are:
