Hello My Friends!
I hope you are preparing for a restful and Spirit-filled Sabbath day!
I wanted to talk about discipline and discipleship. The root of these two words is the same and their meaning is intertwined. There is a reason for this. Too often we see discipline as punishment instead of training. I’d like to help you change your view of your challenges and give you more opportunities to be an overcomer; trained, strong, filled with self-control and wholeness.
G-d’s Word abounds with His true intentions for discipline. He disciplined Israel time and again in order to bring them back to Himself and relationship!
Relationship with G-d puts us on the path to true wholeness. While the system of the world will fragment us, take advantage of us and make us slaves to money, achievement or status, G-d’s Kingdom empowers us, puts us back together, frees us and gives us a royal status that can never be taken.
This is truly the battle of the system of the world versus G-d’s Ways.
Proverbs lays a foundation for loving the teaching and instruction, the discipleship, the discipline of Yahweh. But do we abide by this wisdom?
I share today the things that are inspiring me to lean into any correction in my life that G-d is using so that you will hopefully also be inspired.
Blessings My Friends,
Rachel
