Description

Who are we? Do we believe in liberty and freedom? Does G-d? Why do we, or why should we care? Justice, mercy, humility, truth, beauty. What kind of society is the Bible proposing as an ideal and what kind of society will exist in Yeshua’s reign? These are all questions we better start asking and answering because we seem to be desperately behind in making sure we are attempting to live out G-d’s ideal.

This country has a powerful group of Believers. Perhaps silence is not the correct response right now. Perhaps each one of us is called to say what is on our hearts and to live a bit more ready to sacrifice something for the Kingdom.

First Essays from the book coming soon! Forgive me if this is not a topic you were hoping I would cover. Skip it if you must. But, historically, Believers have often been the impetus for freedom, whether it’s the founders at the Revolution, great Christian leaders from the Civil War, or Martin Luther King Jr during the Civil Rights Movement. We have a long history of speaking out in love and protesting injustice and discrimination.

I’m not better than those who have gone before. If they felt called to speak out, why wouldn’t I? My voice is small and my reach even smaller, but my voice along with yours becomes something greater. One small voice at a time, we can do this, but we must do it as a community. Together, I’d like to speak out against tyranny. I hope you join me. If you want to attend a protest in the future, let me know and I will happily get you information as it comes.

Love,

Rachel
