Covenant is everything in the Bible. It is our salvation, it is our relationship with G-d, it is a powerful tool in prayer, and yet, I find most Christians terribly confused about the covenants we find described in the Bible.
Even I needed this review. My Christian upbringing has trained me into thinking of covenant as law and then I get into a mess of man-made ideas that lead me astray.
What does the Bible actually say? What is covenant? Is it the Laws of G-d or is it something else? What is the difference between the New Covenant and the Old Covenant? Let’s talk this through a bit and see if we can’t find some clarity.
