Notre Dame basketball is adding some serious muscle to the paint. Coach Micah Shrewsberry announced today that Big South Player of the Year Logan Duncomb is transferring to join the Irish for the 2026-27 season.
The Winthrop graduate transfer arrives in South Bend fresh off a season where he led the nation in fouls drawn, using a high-motor style to average over 18 points and nearly nine rebounds per game. Duncomb shot 60 percent from the floor last year and set a Winthrop record with 194 free throws made. The Cincinnati native chose Notre Dame after leading Winthrop to a 23-win season and a conference title game appearance. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
