The Notre Dame women are moving on in the NCAA Tournament…
The Fighting Irish are headed to the second round after a 79–60 win over Fairfield in Columbus. Notre Dame never trailed, building a double-digit lead by halftime and pulling away in the third quarter. Hannah Hidalgo led the way with a near quadruple-double — 23 points, nine rebounds, eight steals, and six assists — while Iyana Moore added 18 and Cassandre Prosper chipped in 17. The Irish will now face third-seeded Ohio State with a trip to the Sweet 16 on the line. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
