Here’s One Thing to watch when Notre Dame plays North Carolina Saturday: don’t just count CJ Carr’s completions. Watch how far they go. North Carolina opponents are completing 67% of their passes, but those completions are averaging only about nine yards apiece, and the Tar Heels have allowed just one touchdown pass. Carr is completing better than 70% of his throws — but here’s the difference: his completions are averaging 14.4 yards, and he already has nine touchdown passes. So, Saturday's hidden matchup isn't necessarily whether Carr completes the football. It's what happens after he does. Can North Carolina turn Notre Dame's explosive passing game into a series of short gains? Or can Carr make a routine completion become something much bigger? I’m Len Clark, and that’s my One Thing to watch.#thelenzone #Irish101 #GoIrish
