The Notre Dame basketball team fell to Kansas 71-61 in the Players Era Tournament in Las Vegas. Len Clark reports.
The Irish are now 4-2 with the loss and the difference came on the backboards. Kansas outrebounded the Irish 44–34, including a dominant 34–24 margin on the defensive glass.
Markus Burton led Notre Dame with 24 points, while Jalen Haralson added 13, but the Irish only shot 34 percent and went 4-for-24 from three. Notre Dame will now face Rutgers this afternoon at 1 p.m. ET. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
