The Notre Dame men’s basketball team is adding backcourt depth to its team with familiar name in the state of Indiana.
Head coach Micah Shrewsberry announced the addition of Mark Zackery the Fourth. The Indianapolis native joins the Irish after his freshman football season and brings a championship basketball résumé. Zackery led Ben Davis to a 33–0 record and a Class 4A state title, earning Indiana All-Star honors. Shrewsberry says Zackery’s ball handling, playmaking and defense will help immediately and will add value to the locker room. The Irish host Evansville on Saturday. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
