Notre Dame held off a late Rutgers to defeat the Scarlet Knights 68–63 in Las Vegas. Len Clark reports.

Markus Burton led the Irish with 21 points, six rebounds, and had five assists, as Notre Dame built a 19-point first-half lead and never trailed. Rutgers stayed alive by hitting eleven three-pointers and mounted a comeback to get within 5 points. Jalen Haralson and Braedon Shrewsberry also scored in double-figures as Notre Dame improves to 5–2 with the win and will wrap up the players era tournament this afternoon.
