Freshman Jalen Haralson scored a career-high 20 points with nine assists, and Cole Certa added 20 with six three-pointers as The Irish shot 55% from the field in the win. Notre Dame won the rebounding battle 36–28 over the Horned Frogs, and made the key defensive stop on the final possession of overtime to improve to 7–3 with the victory.
