Notre Dame fell to Cal 72-71 in a game that went right down to the wire as Len Clark reports.

Cal’s Dai Dai Ames with a four-point play with five seconds left gave the Golden Bears the lead which proved to be the game winner, as the Irish missed a shot at the buzzer. Notre Dame went the final three minutes without a field goal after leading in the closing seconds. Braeden Shrewsberry led the Irish with 21 points and five threes. Jalen Haralson scored 17, and Carson Towt pulled down 15 rebounds. Notre Dame is now 10–5 overall and 1–1 in the ACC. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
