At 12:33 p.m. eastern time on Sunday the fate of Notre Dame’s football future was sealed when the college football playoff committee determined the Irish were not worthy of competing for the national championship despite winning 10 straight games and only losing two games by a total of four points. What happens now? Possibly a trip to Orlando for the Pop Tarts Bowl with a roster depleted by opt outs and portal transfers and fans wondering the future of Notre Dame football.
