Notre Dame is 0-2 on the young season going into this weekend’s game against Purdue, in a must win game. Len Clark has more.

Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman says the difference in last Saturday’s one-point loss to Texas A&M came down to execution. Freeman emphasized it’s not about the play-calling, but how well the team carries out those calls on the field. The Irish struggled to generate pressure on defense and gave up explosive plays, while a botched extra point proved costly. Freeman added that his focus now is on evaluating why execution broke down, fixing mistakes, and preparing for Purdue. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
