The Irish are 8-2 overall with the win that was powered by a dominant defensive effort that held the Panthers to 0-for-13 on third down. The Irish also controlled the ball for more than 35 minutes and outgained Pitt 387 yards to 219. Jeremiyah Love rushed for 147 yards and a score, while quarterback CJ Carr threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns — both to going Malachi Fields.
