Saturday’s most important play between Notre Dame and Purdue may come when the Boilermakers appear ready to give the football away as Len Clark reports.
Everyone will focus on Purdue quarterback Ryan Browne and the nation’s third-ranked passing attack, but watch what happens when the Boilermakers finally face fourth down. Purdue has punted only five times through three games—and converted a 47-yard fake punt at UCLA. Notre Dame has blocked six punts since the start of 2024, including one against Michigan State. So, Saturday’s hidden matchup may begin when everyone assumes the possession is over. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
