Notre Dame’s offense can score from almost anywhere, but against unbeaten BYU, field position will be important. Len Clark reports.
For the Irish, that puts special teams, tackling and avoiding costly penalties in the spotlight. Defensively, Notre Dame wants to force BYU into long, sustained drives rather than giving the Cougars short fields. And favorable field position could help quarterback CJ Carr and the Irish offense. Explosive plays may grab the headlines, but Saturday night in Provo, the hidden yards could help decide the game and determine who remains unbeaten. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
