Duke’s depth and rebounding proved too much for the 18th ranked Notre Dame women’s basketball team as Len Clark reports.
The Blue Devils controlled the glass 39-31 and got 25 bench points in the 82-68 victory. Duke’s Taina Mair scored 23 points to lead all scorers while Notre Dame was led by Hanna Hidalgo with 22 points. A key stat was 16 Irish turnovers that led to 17 Duke points. The second straight loss drops Notre Dame to 10-and-4 overall and 2-and-2 in the ACC. The Irish return home to face Boston College on Thursday. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
