Shooting told the story in Notre Dame’s loss at top-ranked UConn. Len Clark reports.

Notre Dame struggled from the perimeter in an 85–47 loss to UConn, hitting just 1 of 16 three-point shots. The Huskies led for nearly the entire game — 39 minutes and 43 seconds — and turned Irish turnovers into 20 points. Hanna Hidalgo once again led the Irish with 16 points, while Sarah Strong had 18 points and 11 rebounds for UConn. Notre Dame is now 12-5 and 4-3 in conference - they host Miami on Thursday.
