The Irish enter the Big Dance with a twenty-two and ten record, and are battle-tested after finishing twelve and six in the A-C-C. Len Clark has more.

It’s a chance for head coach Niele Ivey’s squad to re-establish their postseason dominance in a city that has historically treated the program well. Notre Dame and Fairfield have met only once before, a matchup the Irish won in 1987. To do it again, they’ll lean on junior star Hannah Hidalgo, who leads the team in scoring at twenty-five points per game. Notre Dame and Fairfield meet in the NCAA South Regional in Columbus next Saturday. Len Clark, Network Indiana.
