Knowing God’s will for our lives is something all Christians desire to know, yet discerning the will of God isn’t as easy as receiving an email or a phone call from Him. Whether it’s which job to take, which college to attend, which church to commit yourself to, or whom to marry, determining the will of God is important to Christians. We all have questions for God, but we know that the Bible doesn’t always give black and white answers (for example, there is no scripture that says “You shall attend this college“ or “Don’t marry that person“).
In this episode, Maxx shares her experience discerning God’s will for her life as big life choices came up and how her time in prayer and reading God’s Word brought her clarity. Though Maxx, in no way, claims to have all the answers or the magic formula for discerning God’s will, she has wise insights on how you might go about uncovering the will of God for your life.
“Do not be conformed to this world,but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2, ESV).
