My menopause share today is about concert-going in menopause, because today we are going to an all-day summer festival and I had to prepare for this. I remember the days when I would go to an all-day concert with nothing more than a little lipstick. It's a little different now. I'm more prepared.
Preparation is Key
I'm smarter. I've got my sunscreen, we've got the Liquid I.V. because you know, just a couple of drinks changes everything. Snacks … A little cooling spray. (This stuff is great. My daughter gave it to me for my menopause-themed birthday this year.) And always layers, layers galore because you just never know — you could be hot one minute and freezing cold the next.
A towel
I always travel with a towel. My family likes to make fun of me. But you know what? Almost every single trip one of them has needed a towel. Just always bring it. My own cooler. That's fun.
And, of course, still the lipstick.
