Description

Hi Folks,

Here is my conversation with Yuval Levin, director of social, cultural, and constitutional studies at the American Enterprise Institute, a leading thinker on politics, culture, and history, and the author of the book The Great Debate: Edmund Burke, Thomas Paine, and the Birth of Right and Left.

It’s about book two men who came to embody the great divide in modern politics — the revolutionary idealism of Paine and the cautious reform of Burke. Their argument wasn’t just about policy — it was about what human beings are, what society is for, and how change should happen.
