When I went to record the masculine version of this song, I tried every option AI had to offer. Nothing fit. Nothing felt masculine enough or emotionally honest.And then, I heard it undeniably, unmistakably the voice of John Legend. I didn’t choose it his voice showed up.I froze. Everything in me said: don’t do it. Not without asking. Not without reverence.But something deeper said: This voice was chosen for a reason. It carried the weight, the soul, the truth of this message.
