Introduction
Hi, it’s me again. I wanted to just come on here and give you a rundown about me a little history about myself, where I’m from, things like that.
Where I’m From
So, I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. Yes, over there in the desert where it’s really hot. That’s why I moved to Texas, because there’s absolutely no rain and weather in Phoenix. And I hate to say that, but it is true. Anyways, it’s kind of deserty there. And I love country and greenery and crops and things like that. You know, Phoenix is a lot of dirt and cactus and dry bushes.
Even one time I flew out there, got off the airplane, stepped outside, and I could just smell the dry bush in the air. It was just… well. Anyways, I’ve been gone from there for about almost 19 years. I’ve been a Texan ever since.
Family
I do have two children who are adults now, and I have a granddaughter who’s one and a half. She’s my son’s daughter, and she is definitely my heart.
What I Like To Do
What I like to do in my free time is basically drive, listen to music, write that’s what I’ve been doing lately. But if you wanna see me kind of just let loose, I love going to the beach, walking alongside the water, and just listening to the waves. That is so peaceful and calming to me.
Being a Pisces, yes, I absolutely love water, but you’ll find me enjoying a bath more than swimming in the ocean. I’d rather soak in a bath or jacuzzi than be out in a large body of water.
Fun & Games
My idea of fun is playing ping pong. This game cracks me up so hard like keeping that damn ball on the table is the funniest thing ever, especially if you’re playing with someone who’s never played before. I mean, I don’t know why it’s so funny, but it’s hilarious to me, and I absolutely love it. I’ve had ping pong tables in my house before and loved every bit of it.
Food & Cooking
Although I don’t have one favorite food, I do have a few recipes that I’m known for. One of them is my famous tacos. And what I do different which I feel a lot of people do too is fry the shell. But I use white corn, so it gives it a kind of softer flavor and a nice crunch. Of course, I fry them in avocado oil, which makes the taco even more special and a little bit healthier for you.
Then there’s my famous banana pudding my mom’s recipe and her peach cobbler recipe. Those are dishes I carry with me.
Flying Planes
I had a goddad who had a private plane, and he insisted that I learn how to drive it. So, up in the air, thousands and thousands of feet, I was flying a plane by myself for about 12 minutes straight after I finally figured out, on the third try, how to keep the plane steady.
That’s not easy. Even though it seems easy if you look at the wings, being in that open space makes it hard to tell if your plane is level, unless you’re looking at the GPS. So yeah, that’s a fun fact about me: I flew a plane before, for a few minutes.
Pet Peeves
I don’t really like to harp on pet peeves, because I feel it can sound naggy, but I’ll give you one. Crumbs in the bed. Eating in the bed chips, cookies, whatever. For me, the bed is my peace, my joy, my space to breathe. If I run my leg across the sheets and there’s something sharp there, I get irritated. To the point that I’ll get up and change the whole bed. So I don’t know if that’s a real pet peeve or not, but yeah, crumbs in the bed is a no for me.
Creativity
I feel like I put my creative nature on the back burner for too long. But since I’ve pulled it out and started activating it, it’s gotten stronger for sure. And it didn’t take years. It’s only been about six months that I really started writing, creating songs, and transforming myself.
