Today, I want to talk about gravity.
Not physics class gravity but the kind that pulls your blessings in the moment you stop gripping so tight.
This isn’t a cute metaphor. It’s the lesson that pulled me out of spiraling when I was trying to force clarity, force timelines, force change.
My new song, Gravity, was born out of that exact moment where I realized I wasn’t blocked… I was still in fight mode.
So let’s talk about what it means to let go without giving up.
To be powerful without pushing.
To let it come.
You ever notice how no one teaches this part?
Nobody pulls you aside and says:
“Hey, did you know that trying too hard actually slows it all down?”
But it’s true.
When your hands are clamped in a fist, they’re not open to receive.
When your mind is spinning with how and when, there’s no room for the “how” to surprise you.
Here’s a new visual:
Imagine you’re a radio tower.
Everything you’ve asked for is already broadcasting on a frequency.
But you’ve been fiddling with the antenna, standing on one leg, and hoping static counts as a song. Clear the interference. Tune in.
We confuse motion with magnetism.
Effort with effectiveness.
Panic with passion.
But sometimes the signal gets stronger when you go still.
You ever stalk a package?
Refresh the tracking number like it’s gonna text you back?
It’s “out for delivery” for five hours and you’re pacing like it ghosted you.
Then you finally give up and go make a sandwich…
Now all the sudden it’s at the door.
That’s how miracles and what you want in life works, too.
It needs space. It needs breath. It needs us to let go and realize you’re not the one delivering it.
And don’t get me wrong the urge to control is strong. Especially when you’ve been waiting a long time.
Especially when it feels like your survival depends on the answer.
But the longer you grip the steering wheel of something that already knows how to drive… the bumpier the ride.
When I wrote Gravity, I was in that place.
I did the affirmations. The trusting. The preparing.
And yet I still found myself refreshing the spiritual tracking number like:
“Uh, where is it?”
And the whisper I got was:
“You’re right where you need to be, you’re in position. But you’re too armored to receive ”
I needed to soften my stance.
Not surrender as in giving up…
But surrender as in letting myself be carried.
Let me leave you with this:
What if the things meant for you don’t need to be hunted they need to be welcomed?
What if trying to grab it only proves you think it’s out of reach?
Let it come.
Hold your charge.
Unclench your grip.
And then you can realize it was never delayed… just aligning.
You’re not off track.
You’re magnetic.
🎵 And if you want to anchor this into your body not just your thoughts go listen to Gravity.
It’s not just a song. It’s a soul recalibration.
It’s the reminder that what feels you coming… doesn’t need convincing. It just needs space to arrive.
May the wisdom within guide you, the freedom within carry you, and the love within remind you….it is already done!
