So… let’s talk.
This episode is for the people who’ve been feeling some kind of way about the songs I’ve been dropping lately especially Moan Art.
Now listen, I know the title made a few folkslose their composure, and I know not everyone’s going to understand. But I’m not here to keep up with mainstream, sugarcoat, or make my healing process dressed up to please.
Let me tell you why songs like this exist and why Her Karmic Touch and Moan Art are part of the same story. I’ll explain why I wrote them both.
This isn’t just about intimate awareness, it’s about truth and being in touch with every part of yourself spirit, energy, body, and yes, desire.
If you’ve been with me from the start you know my music touches everything. I don’t stay in one lane because I’ve never lived in one.
I’ve worked in clinics, cleaned homes, rubbed backs, handled electric wires, and listened to women cry in exam rooms. I’ve calmed Alzheimer’s patients when no one else could. I’ve gone from deep spiritual work to one hand in a toolbox, the other writing lyrics on a napkin…I’m not new to this I’m layered.
That’s why my music reflects life. All of it. I’m not just writing affirmations. I’m tapping into healing that goes way deeper than surface-level self-care. And sometimes, that healing sounds like Moan Art.
Let’s start with Her Karmic Touch.
This song is for when you stop explaining and start receiving. When being seen stops feeling risky and starts feeling right. When you stop waiting and stop believing you have to earn what you already are.
It’s warmth wrapped in wonder. It’s grounded and a reminder that I didn’t call her in by begging… I became the kind of energy she would recognize. That’s how she found me!
Now, Moan Art?
Different lane, same truth.
That one’s about embodiment. About staying present in your own body long enough to feel it all. It’s real….even if they don’t get it. It’s not about being vulgar but about being whole.
Sensuality didn’t trap me. It taught me. It reflects where you’re disconnected from yourself. When you suppress it, you suppress your life force. Your vitality and fire.
That’s why I’m not hiding it.
Moan Art may sound intense, but I meant every word. That track is healing for real. You feel it in your chest and spine. You feel it in the part of you that forgot how to breathe deep and be fully present. And if you’ve got headphones on, it’s gonna wake something up in you.
Some folks might raise an eyebrow at this release. I’m at peace with that. I’m not for everyone. But I’m for someone. I know that.
I’ve always been a one-stop shop. Ask anybody who knows me. You come to my house, I probably got it. Same goes for how I move through the world. I don’t show up half ass. I’ve always been the kind of woman who can make a meal, change a light fixture and shift your mindset in the same hour.
So when it comes to music, I’m not gonna be what others are, I’m always gonna be myself. I write about healing and joy. I also write about grief, energy, love, timing, stillness and yes desire.
All of it belongs.
That’s what my book Sovereign Touch is about too. Knowing that your body is a temple, not a trap. That your sensuality isn’t separate from your spirit… it’s proof that your spirit made it to Earth.
So if some are uncomfortable, it’s okay. This doesn’t need to be understood by everyone. But if you feel something and don’t know why or it stirred something in you don’t run from that.
That’s where the gold is.
Moan Art is not porn in disguise. It’s soul work. And I wrote it for those of us who are ready to reclaim the parts of ourselves we were told to suppress.
You don’t have to hide anymore.
Your pleasure, voice, stillness, and presence are all sacred. And so is your desire.
