From there, he throws himself into the reunion—games, group activities, easy laughter. He participates fully, stays visible, keeps moving. It’s easier to stay occupied than to sit with what’s unresolved.
This chapter places private avoidance beside public performance, showing how both can coexist—and how neither actually quiets what’s waiting underneath.
