The importance of this discussion lies more in our future than our now. We are just at the beginning of the stress response as a collective humanity vs. our individual nervous system.
What was once just accepted and not talked about has gone to ‘stress response’ to autistic meltdowns, emotional dysregulation, and what I am calling ‘hyper responsive reaction’.
All stem from the activation of our sympathetic nervous system, but depending who and when they happen, we are calling them different things.
If we can step back and think continuum vs. diagnosis or pathology or mental illness - maybe we can then move into how we all as humans will benefit from this process.
Sadly, that most likely won’t happen in my lifetime and collectively we are all at the effects of this powerful process in real time.
Stress is not getting less! And constant stress = more disruption and constructive processes.
So, buckle up and listen to see what makes sense for you! And, post any questions as after I finished I still had a lot more to say!
