Dear beloved,
This letter is for the one who has surrendered her plans—but now God is refining her heart.
You’ve said, “Have Your way, Lord,”and suddenly everything that’s not of Him is being touched by fire.
Don’t mistake it for rejection.This is what love looks like when it refuses to leave you impure.
The Fire That Reveals Motives
“Search me, God, and know my heart;test me and know my anxious thoughts.See if there is any offensive way in me,and lead me in the way everlasting.” —Psalm 139:23–24
Purity isn’t about perfection.It’s about proximity.
The closer you walk with Jesus, the less room there is for mixture.His presence burns away what pretending can’t hide.
“He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver;He will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver.” —Malachi 3:3
Notice—He sits.He doesn’t panic while you’re in the fire.He watches carefully until He can see His reflection in you.
The fire isn’t to destroy you; it’s to reveal you.
The Gift of Refinement
You’ve asked God for more of Him…and He’s answering by removing more of you.
The process feels personal because it is personal.He’s not burning indiscriminately;He’s burning intentionally.Every impurity that keeps His image from shining through.
Sometimes purification looks like losing what was never meant to last.Other times it looks like facing what you didn’t want to see.
But every flame He allows is measured by mercy.
🔔 YOUR WAKE-UP CALL TODAY
Pray this aloud:
“Lord, search me and know me.Expose anything that offends You or limits Your glory in my life.Burn away pride, fear, and self-reliance.Refine my motives until they match Yours.I trust the hands that hold the fire.In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Then ask:
“What is the fire revealing in me—not to shame me, but to shape me?”
Journal what the Spirit shows you.It’s not discipline you’re feeling—it’s destiny being purified.
Purity isn’t about having nothing wrong. It’s about having nothing hidden.And the ones who let Him purify them now will shine like gold when He returns.
