Dear beloved,
This letter is for the one who says they are all in on Jesus…but keeps waiting for convenience to obey Him.
You talk about faith. You post about surrender. You tell God He can use you—but only once the fear fades, the schedule clears, or the details make sense.
Delayed obedience is still disobedience.
The Gap Between Hearing and Heeding
Jesus said:
“If you love Me, keep My commands.” — John 14:15
He didn’t say “understand My commands”or “feel ready for My commands.”
He said keep them.
Love for Him is proved in the doing, not the talking.
But many of us have learned to hide hesitation behind holy language:
“I’m praying about it.”“I’m waiting for confirmation.”“I just need to be at peace first.”
Sometimes that’s not discernment—it’s disobedience wearing a halo.
The Cost of Convenience
We want miracles, but on our timetable. We want resurrection power, but without the tomb.
Obedience will always ask you to step before you see.Abraham left home without a map.Peter stepped out before the storm was still.Mary said yes without knowing how.
Faith moves. Fear makes excuses.
And every delayed step widens the gap between revelation and revival. The blessing is often waiting on the other side of your follow-through.
“Do not merely listen to the word … Do what it says.” —James 1:22

Pray this out loud:
“Lord, forgive me for hesitating when You spoke.Expose every place I’ve confused delay with wisdom.Teach me to obey quickly and completely.Make me a woman whose love is seen in steps, not just sentences.Strengthen me to say yes—even when it costs me comfort. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Then write this down somewhere you’ll see it daily:
“My obedience is not a negotiation. It’s my love on display.”
And before the day ends, act on something God already told you to do.
Don’t overthink it. Just move.
You’ll never regret an obedience that cost you but brought Him glory.
Partial obedience keeps you safe.Full obedience sets you free.
With love in Christ,Shawna & Camille
