Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche, DVM, PhD, is an independent virologist and vaccine expert with a professional background in academia and various vaccine development organizations, including GAVI and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He has a long-standing career in vaccine research and development.
He gained international attention during the COVID-19 pandemic for his controversial claims and “doomsday prophecies” that mass vaccination programs would lead to immune escape and a “tsunami” of hospitalizations and deaths. His claims have been widely disputed by the broader scientific and medical community, with medical experts and fact-checkers stating they are unsupported, false, and examples of misinformation or pseudoscience. Public health bodies such as the CDC emphasized that vaccines are critical for controlling the pandemic and preventing severe disease.
Vanden Bossche continues to work as a biotech/vaccine consultant and conduct his own research on Natural Killer cell-based vaccines, while advocating his views through books and various platforms.
